{WW} Colour-Block Booties

Always down for a good colour-blocking session, these Sam Edelman booties had me at white heel. And cobalt. Oh, and suede... soft, supple suede. Basically what I'm trying to say is these badboys were a no-brainer. The moment I saw them I was as good as sold, although it did take me a few weeks to justify yet another pair of booties � but hey, the heart wants what it wants.

{Style} Fleur Sure...

You know me, always quick to jump on the cheesy-pun express... So when I find a floral print worthy of some good old fashioned word play, you bet your sweet Asos (zing!) I'm going for it� Fleur sure.

Anyway, I picked this blouse up during my inaugural Target Canada visit last week, which has led to re-wearing said shirt more times than I care to admit. But seriously, just try and have a bad day when you're packing tha much floral print action, I dare you... It just can't be done.

{Valentine's Week} Pink + Red...

You guys know I'm a sucker for girlie, over-the-top proclamations of love and the like (ummm, hello!), so naturally a theme week was in order... First up, the colour scheme. Nothing says Valentine's day quite like a little pink-and-red action, so to honour that I went waaaay overboard with both. Typical. To bring this point home, let me tell you a little story: When I described this outfit to my friend Ashley yesterday, she lifted her hand, drew a deep breath and matter-of-factly said "no" before I could get past the varsity jacket. She was probably right but what can I say, I'm a sucker for a little festive colour blocking... Bring it on, Valentine's! xx

Sheer boredom, coupled with my love of online shopping, led to a little splurge-fest recently... And since I worked from home yesterday, I was around when Mr. Postman came by to deliver the goods. No, not like that pervs, I'm talking about this adorable bag and these hot heels! Now truth be told, my dream animal-embossed bag is a little more Burberry than ASOS, but hey, I do what I can. Bonjour! I thought I would go for a little in-your-face colour blocking today to brighten things up... You likey?
