{Style} Spots & Stripes...

It's been depressingly cold here in Edmonton lately, so I decided to rebel against the oppressive temperatures by putting together a fun, "printy" little outfit (albeit under layers of outerwear, but still). Stripes and navy always remind me of spring, so by wearing them today I symbolically told winter to take a hike... And I'm pretty sure the pop of leopard speaks for itself. Boom.

New York Bound...

Good morning, lovelies! As you read this, I'll be on a flight to New York with my lovely friend Janis  for the very first time!!! Now I know this might not seem like the biggest deal in the world to some of you, but going to NYC has been my dream for longer than I can remember, and I'm beside myself with excitement � Eeeeek!

Recognize this skirt? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no... That's because it typically doesn't get a lot of play, what with its ever-rising slip that leaves me feeling oh-so exposed. Not fun. Regardless, I decided to give it another chance because hey, that's the kind of girl I am... The result? Let's just say you probably won't be seeing this skirt again for a long, long time.
