Well, it's Monday and you know what that means � only two more sleeps until the big day! Mr. AiF, Meows and I are currently in Vancouver, enjoying slightly less snow than we're used to (what gives, yvr?!) plus lots of amazing food and drink before heading to Victoria on Christmas Day to chill with my family. That's going to lead to even more food and drink, and Mr. AiF rolling me onto a plane come January... Oh the holidays.

Winter is in full swing (happy December, by the way!), so to counteract its morale-bursting effects, I decided to wear all the pink I could stomach in one sitting... And believe me, my pink tolerance is low. But you know what? Turns out it's basically impossible to have a bad day or be sad (with a double 'd') when you're wearing this obnoxiously bright shade. Seriously now, winter neons � do it.

Road trips seem to always be ripe with abandoned-old-building-sightings, which are like catnip for fashion bloggers. That's why I forced Mr. AiF to make a pit stop in a tiny little town to snap pics in front of an old automotive shop. I mean seriously, peeling paint, dirty windows and creepy remnants of it's past life scattered about always makes for a killer backdrop, if not only in my head. I've been on a bit of a shopping kick lately (I'm thinking May is gonna have to be another shopping ban month), including a mini online tryst with ASOS. Nothing too crazy, but let's just say that my virtual cart ranneth over with a striped skirt (stay tuned!) and this totally awesome blazer. Faux leather is totally my jam, so any opportunity to double up � say in a nice shorts/blazer combo � is fine by me. Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but it's just, well, the greatest.
